As part of the Ukrainian Wind Energy Forum, representatives of Ukreximbank visited the Skoliv Wind Farm (WF) — one of the largest operating wind farms in the mountainous region of Ukraine.

The project, which is impressive in terms of its scale and technical solutions, was implemented by the Ukrainian company Eco-Optima LLC and the Czech company MND with the support of Ukreximbank. The total cost of the station is approximately €65 million. The Skolivska WPP has a capacity of 59 MW and was built during the war, demonstrating the resilience and continuity of renewable energy development even in the most difficult times.
According to estimates by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Ukraine has the greatest technical potential for renewable energy among the countries of Southeast Europe, especially in the field of wind power generation. That is why green energy is considered a key component of the post-war reconstruction of the Ukrainian energy system.
