On August 27, 2025, the second meeting of the Committee of the Association of Ukrainian Banks (AUB) of non-bank participants in the payment market took place.
The committee was established as a professional community of payment market companies with the following objectives:
- forming a transparent, innovative, and competitive market for payment services in Ukraine;
- increasing the level of trust between market participants and consumers;
- building effective dialogue between business and government institutions;
- developing joint proposals and approaches to the implementation of regulatory requirements and the development of the industry.
During the meeting, participants discussed a number of pressing issues:
- practical aspects of complying with regulatory requirements established by the National Bank of Ukraine;
- changes in legislation planned in the near future and their impact on companies’ business models;
- key challenges faced by payment market participants, particularly in the areas of compliance, technological innovation, and interaction with government agencies.
Special attention was paid to developing joint proposals and approaches to solving problematic issues that affect the market as a whole. This format of work allows consolidating the position of non-bank market participants and defending their interests at the industry level.
Committee Chair Yulia Fedosyuk expresses her gratitude to all participants of the meeting for their active participation, expertise, and constructive suggestions. The Committee’s activities are an important step towards the formation of a modern payment environment in Ukraine based on the principles of trust, innovation, and partnership.
